WHAT IS ROSACEA?
Rosacea is a long-term disease that affects the skin and sometimes the eyes. Rosacea typically starts between ages 30 and 50 years but has been seen in adolescents and the elderly. Women are more likely to have rosacea, but it is more severe in men. Fair-skinned people are more susceptible to rosacea.
